Although the dream match-up between Mayweather and Pacquiao never transpired, boxing fans have a lot to be excited about with another mega-fight on the horizon: Mayweather vs. Mosley.
Shane Mosley looks to be Floyd Mayweather’s toughest opponent to date. This is certainly a risky fight for Floyd and could possibly jeopardize his unblemished record. Then again, this has been said before regarding other opponents he has faced in the past, such as De La Hoya, Hatton, Castillo and Corrales.
Mayweather is no stranger to controversy. He has continuously been accused of either cherrypicking or ducking opponents, the most recent and most notable being Manny Pacquiao, a man who many consider to be the best fighter of this era. With his demand that Pacquiao and all future opponents be subjected to Olympic-style drug testing, Mayweather has faced a barrage of criticism as of late.
Now, however, Mayweather’s attention has shifted from Pacquaio to Mosley. If anyone believed that Mayweather would never fight a top welterweight like Mosley, they have now been proven wrong. It was never hype. The contracts are signed and the critics should now be silenced.
There seems to be more anticipation for Mayweather-Mosley than Pacquaio-Clottey, as Pacquaio’s fight against Clottey looks to be an easy win, especially considering the way he has fought lately. As for Mayweather, on the other hand, his fight with Mosley could go either way.
There is no telling what shape Mosley will be in for the fight scheduled on May 1 and we are unsure of the effects from his long lay off. However, if he looks anything like he did last year against Margarito, we will be in store for an entertaining fight.
In the back of many people’s minds, the fight that everyone eventually wants to see is Pacquiao-Mayweather. For now, both men have to focus on other opponents before that contest can even be discussed again. The reality is that Shane Mosley is no soft touch for Floyd. This is a dangerous fight and a bout with Mosley will require Mayweather’s undivided attention.

Sugar Shane Mosley is more than enough to shut up Pretty Boy Floyd … My money’s on Sugar Shane … unanamious decision!
February 9th, 2010 at 2:40 AM
How can Mosley a tough opponent of Mayweather? Mosley was beaten by Cotto and if anyone had seen the fight, Mosley just didn’t have the knock out power to knock out Cotto and in fact he didn’t have stamina. This is the fact and Cotto was beaten by Pacquiao. There is only one tough fighter to face FMJ and that is the terminator, Philippine Tazmanian devil, tropical typhoon,FMJ’s nightmare, the PACMAN.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:43 AM
Yes this fight is VERY risky for Floyd. I like floyd but I cant deny that he’s been picking fighters during his career that are over the hill, smaller, etc. well…basically on a decline in their careers. Much like freddy roach choosing a GREAT fighter with a big name (cotto) but broken from margarito. Roach knew it and even said it in an interview. But that’s an example of what Floyd would do. So this fight will MAKE him or BREAK him. Even if he picked fighters, his skills are easily seen. He has great speed and best defense in the game. To win he’d have to outbox mosley and NOT get caught with big shots. This IS an elite fighter he’s facing. A man who CAN and WOULD have beaten ANY person on Floyds resume even at his age NOW. This will be Floyd’s greatest challenge. Mosley may shock the world. I’m hoping for that. Being a Mosley fan, I feel that he can land and land BIG. If castillo, Judah, and even marquez can land big… Mosley may do it. He NEEDS a KO. The ONLY chance he has to winning a decision over FLOYD is to HURTING him early. Maybe a couple of times to assure a decision win. Otherwise, Floyd wins by decision. Cant wait til May 1st.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:54 AM
Be a man floyd! Show your bravery man! America is a land of a brave. Black people are real brave in history of america. If floyd win convincingly, i want to continue my loyal fan of him especially if he win to pacquiao. We hope this fight is not totally boring. We want an exciting fight.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:57 AM
Mayweather planned to win this bout. Boxing fans will get cheated.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:59 AM
great write up. mayweather all the way baby!
February 9th, 2010 at 3:13 AM
Mayweather 40-1
Yup, Unanimous decision for Mosley over Mayweather. How? Mosley almost as fast as floyd, so floyd speed will not be a factor. Mosley semi slick and move almost as good as floyd. so floyd offense of pot shots not a factor. No way floyd exchange against sugar. floyd defense was not great against bigger opponents like Oscar. ODH lost cuz he ran out of gas. Mosley X-factors is he got more gas than Oscar, stronger, and can box better. So Mosley will win. No KO because after being floored by Mosley 2X, floyd will runaway and run the clock down and judges will not like it so they will give Sugar a unanimous decision over floyd, who will have a 40-1 record
February 9th, 2010 at 3:18 AM
no!! we never silence floyd have no choice but to fight Mosley now he will be facing an old but dangerous fighter floyd will end up like Margarito!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 3:22 AM
ADDENDUM
PROOF MAYWEATHER ALMOST LOST TO OSCAR AND WAS SCARED OF REMATCH? 1ST FIGHT OSCAR 65% AND FLOYD ONLY 35% A REMATCH FLOYD WOULD HAVE THE LARGER SPLIT BUT HE WAS SCARED BECAUSE HE KNEW HIS DEFENSE NOT TO GOOD AGAINST CONSTANT PRESSURE, POWER, OR BIG OPPONENTS. WHICH SUGAR SHANE MOSLEY POSSESS. FIGHT BIGGER AND STRONG BOXERS LIKE WINKY AND FORREST WILL PAY OFF FOR MOSLEY. DANG MOSLEY MUST FEEL LIKE HUNGRY LION HUNTING DOWN A HYENA
February 9th, 2010 at 3:24 AM
Mayweather is a sack of hubris who will taste humility only after a fight with Pacquio.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:30 AM
Gayweather will die of heart attack come fight night. silence that loud mouth and let him fight like a man, not like the girl he is now
February 9th, 2010 at 3:36 AM
I hope Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will still happen in the future. The Event: Pacquiao-Clottey fight updates @ http://pacquiao-vs-clottey.cebuspace.com Go Pacquiao!
February 9th, 2010 at 3:37 AM
floyd always have a choice.. he could have not accepted the fight against mosley.. on the other hand, pac was forced to fight a boxer with no draw so the opponent could not complain about the drug test.. only person does not like drug test are drug users. period.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:38 AM
This is Karma for Floyd. He avoided Pacquiao by making an unreasonable and out of the rules condition. Now with a big difference in paydirt, he will lose his clean record. Mosley will surely beat Mayweather either by KO as he did to Margarito or UD as in his fight with DLH. Mosley will not let this chance of a lifetime pass by. He wanted to be the first boxer to beat Mayweather. It would have been Pacquiao but Mayweather chickened out.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:49 AM
OSCAR, JUST SIGN THE WAIVERS IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE. FLOYD IS A CHEATER, SHANE IS A CHEATER, OSCAR? SIGN THE WAIVER. BIRDS OF THE SAME FEATHER FLOCKS TOGETHER.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:00 AM
Like Mago? Cmon Paclander you dont even believe that. Dont let how good Mosely looked against a slow ass Mago fool you. I think will see this 38 yr old body. Floyd by a easy decision
February 9th, 2010 at 4:03 AM
sabrina this fyte that you said silenced the critics is now all set, but for the life of me…KINDLY ENLIGHTEN US FOOLS WHY IT TOOK A LONG TIME COMING!!!! and again why did it took your hero 5DAYS? to finally sign the damn contract!!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 4:03 AM
I think its high time that this asshole mayweather should be taught a lesson in humility. And I would be glad that Shane could bring it to him in this coming fight.
Its just unfortunate that a man of his talent had a gargantuan ego that must be deflated considerably. Upon doing so he will become a better fighter as he has nothing more to lose. He had already lost once. Then he will not hesitate to fight anybody that is comptible with his weight class. No more cherry picking.
And last but not the least, Its should be mandated hat xylocaine should be barred during his fight with Mosley to see how really good is this mayweather without his favorite painkiller.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:04 AM
FOR THE INFORMATION OF ALL MORONS OUT THERE!!!!! XYLOCAINE IS NOT AN ANTIBIOTIC!!!! ITS ANESTHETIC!!!!! USE TO NUMB ANY PART OF YOUR BODY SAME AS MORPHINE ( EXTRACTED FROM OPIUM)!!! ITS ALSO CLASSIFIED AS PED SINCE IT ENHANCE ONES PERFORMANCE!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 4:04 AM
You are a gullible girl! Do you really believe they will fight? Once again Floyd has you wrapped around his finger. They will never fight, that is why the minimum media exposure for this fight, as GBP is trying to lessen expenses for a fight that will never happen. Sorry, Floyd will always have an excuse to cancel the fight hahahahaha
February 9th, 2010 at 4:05 AM
Well i just hope that this fight will happen on May 1!!!!! Try to remember the fight with Gaymarquez???
February 9th, 2010 at 4:43 AM
When you talk of the Mayweathers’ [Sr., Jr., and Roger], do you really believe what they say? If your answer is ‘YES’ you’re one of them. Their words are full of garbage and insanity that could only be possibly uttered by someone who’s not in his proper senses.
The thing is, just because Floyd signs his contract to fight Mosley does not necessarily mean Floyd will fight Mosley….NOT UNTILL THEY STAND FACE TO FACE INSIDE THE SQUARED RING. Many things can happen from now on. Do i need to remind you why he suddenly retire after the rematch with ODLH is on the verge of being finalized? How about the excuses and highly suspicious injuries Floyd supposedly suffered that led to the postponement of the Marquez fight? How about that 2 pounds over weight in the final weigh in. Do I also need to repeat the well-documented inconsistencies made by Floyd notwithstanding the self-contradictions he made making himself look funny and rediculous?
Well, my take is…. Floyd with the help of GBP as conspirators will find a way to shelve Mosley and fight Pacman by the 3rd quarter of this year. By that time, I guess Floyd will drop that stupid BT Protocol and allow NSAC to impose any kind of test/schedule which TR and Pacman camp comes from in the first place.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:45 AM
It’s like this, there is no way in which Floyd will lose this fight. Floyd is no Margarito, for as long as Floyd does not Brawl with Sugar, he will win it. It will be by points though, he should stick to his defensive tactics. Go Money Mayweather Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
February 9th, 2010 at 4:50 AM
The only way for floyd to regain the lost respect is to knock out mosley cold. If he wins by running all the 12 rounds, it will be just nothing. Floyd should surprise the boxing fans by bringing the fight to mosley and knock out mosley cold. The way floyd behaves is a manifestation of jealousy to PAC. His ego is reminder to all of us on the ill effects of BROKEN HOMES! Mayweather sr did not raise floyd to be a good americans.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:56 AM
ployd have no choice, he forced pacman to fight on march 13, thinking that manny will backout coz’ his fight with cotto just finished recently…if the earthquake in haiti didn’t happened, mosley-berto fight is done by now…remember ployd originally was cherrypicking m. hatton or malignaggi..suddenly turn of unfortunate event happened, mosley is right infront of ployd’s nose, he was force with so many critics, that if he failed to face mosley, then he better retire, nobody’s buying his hype anymore, everybody’s thoughts are…he’s scared, afraid to fight true WW, doesn’t want to lose his “0″…demanding alot of conditions, who is he? he doesn’t have a belt, he’s not a champion, he’s applying olympic drug testing no boxer ever insist before…
February 9th, 2010 at 5:02 AM
The fight is now on, but on Mayweather’s terms… plus xylocaine. tsk! tsk! tsk!

February 9th, 2010 at 5:10 AM
“OLD but dangerous”…i see the inevitable excuse are being readied.”took five days to sign”…i guess mosley ran out of gas while waiting LOL idiots!
February 9th, 2010 at 5:11 AM
Mayweather did not fight any legit welterweight for many years. why, you ask girlie girl? its because Floyd was always afraid of getting hit by a tough and legit fighter in that division. cotto, margarito, clottey, and the tall freakish paul williams,do those ring a bell to you?. now what mosley? he’s old!!!if he wants to brag bout fighting mosley it shuda been done five years ago… i tell you what though, he is one fine defensive sonavagun!and you know why he perfected it? same thing, he is so darn afraid to feel the power of these legit welterweights. XYLOCAINE floyd is a big COWARD and a FRAUD.
February 9th, 2010 at 5:14 AM
floyd-mosley fight maybe on for now but after Pacquiao beat clottey badly it will be off for a while because of injury, he’s so predictable!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 5:23 AM
Gabriel says : “Now, however, Mayweather’s attention has shifted from Pacquaio to Mosley. If anyone believed that Mayweather would never fight a top welterweight like Mosley, they have now been proven wrong. It was never hype.”
People say : We never said that we did not believe Mayweather will fight a Mosley. What we said was that Mayweather never “liked” to fight Mayweather. For more than a DECADE now, the Preety boy never even asked Mosley to step up to the plate. Before Mosley became available or even before Mosley took on Berto, bad old Floyd found himself in LIMBO after he rejected Pacman. By a strong twist of fate, Mosley caught Preety boy by surprise when Mosley’s opponent backed out due to the Haiti tragedy. These all happened on a matter of a week or two after Preety boy chickened out in the Pacman. So Gabriel, the Preety bad boy coun’t do the obvious again by becoming a DUCK in just a matter of a week or two. Wether Preety bad boy likes it or not, he [Mosley] was suddenly available on and at the same time when the Preety bad boy was marooned in supposedly searching for a weak opponent who just happens to have a name recall.

IMO Floyd doesn’t want to risk his O to SSM, but he has no choice but to save his butt for the huge embarrassment he made to boxing fans. And in order defeat SSM, you can witness in this bout how good he dance, run, clinch and counterpunch…his masterpiece to win split decision..
February 9th, 2010 at 5:34 AM
We can tell that Floyd is really scared of his May 1st fight by diverting it to Pacman. It’s a strong sign of insecurity and jealousy mashed into one. It stinks and will spread like a virus with no cure at all. A chicken and a duck hybrid as a disease carrier that’s Floyd. Could not wait if the fight really happens which I seriously doubt. Shane might just do the job alone without Pac.
February 9th, 2010 at 5:35 AM
Mosley vs. Floyd is a drama!! nothing more… Floyd you say Line ‘em up … how about first on the line is pacquiao, then paul williams, then cotto…and so on and so forth….fck…I bet you will retire again…
February 9th, 2010 at 5:43 AM
Weeks ago when people were talking Mayweather v Pac everyone said pac is too small and he was cherry picking and that he should fight Mosley,Cotto etc a real welterweight as they put it! But now people can see he aint scared and that he’ll whoop his ass there’s a different tune! Fucking hell make your mind up people. Floyd gonna take each on out! But then there will probably be a young fight on the horizon and everyone will say but you aint fought this guy or that guy how long can you keep going on fighting! What and end up like all the rest beat and people say your a failure! Don’t Judge till you’ve Laced up them gloves you haterz!!!! If floyd didnt say anything flashy you would all love him but cause he gets under your skin you hate him but remember only the real show men can do it all and still be at the top where he is.
February 9th, 2010 at 5:53 AM
He’s fighting Mosley (who’s very good) but way past his prime. Sure he demolished MArgarito (without handwraps), but that was more than a year ago. That being said, this still should be a good fight Money doesnt run so much. He should come out as the winner. Last, do not think for one second that Mosley is not a calculated risk. He’s 39, and hasn’t fought for more than a year. The only reason they are fighting is because of a terrible tragedy in Hati. If Berto decided to fight (or not waive his cancellation clause) Mayweather would have no one except Campbell and Paulie. Please stop writing that Mayweather made this happen. He had no choice. Imagine his image if he DIDN’T sign. I do like him as an athlete, but he thinks people are stupid. Thats why people don’t like him.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:03 AM
This fight is the beginning of the end of PBF if it will push through. It maybe signed but I do not trust PBF. He still has two or more months to find an excuse of way out.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:09 AM
another paid article for floydee… Go floyd spend your hard earned dollars. But i think it’s oscar who paid for this one… let’s drink to that Sabrina.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:22 AM
We will see how many home run floyd make when this fight happen muahauhauaha…i am just afraid of 12 round with 12 home run LMAO!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 6:25 AM
lets wait till 01may. i still believe floyd will not fight mosley.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:26 AM
KFC only got into this fight with mosley because of the Haiti earthquake tradegy that prompted Berto to back out from his fight with Mosley. And he was left with Mosley because there is no one else after his ducking of Pacquiao. He needed Mosley to prove that he doesn’t pick his opponents. Yeah right floyd! When Mosley challenged you after your cherry pickin’ fight with Marquez, YOU COULDN’T EVEN GIVE HIM A STRAIGHT ANSWER! BOK-BOK-BOK! AND KFC IS A HYPOCRITE! CRUSADER OUT TO CLEAN UP BOXING MY ASS! YOU’RE A XYLOCAINE USER, SO YOU BETTER START WITH YOURSELF INSTEAD OF THROWING BASELESS ACCUSATIONS TOWARDS PACQUIAO.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:29 AM
I want this fight to happen! Until I see PBF inside the ring with Mosley on May 1 there is still a possibility the fight will not happen just my 2 cents. Also, Sugar Shane doesn’t excite with a boxer style fights and this will not be an exception. And, Shane will lose this fight by decision unless he will not fade on the last round or be lucky to land a big punch. Shane look good on the Margarito fight because Margarito is a brawler. PBF is the total opposite of Margarito.
Floyd’s “0″ will be in serious jeopardy…. But still I think it’s a bad business decision for Floyd… blowing the $40M to a Pac fight…. for a consolation Mosley fight of $10-15M with high RISK. tsk… tsk… tsk… Not an easy fight for PBF… but still very winnable for PBF because Mosley jab his way around the ring.
Hopefully Mosley will realize that jabbing PBF will be futile! Best if Mosley will walk thru PBF best punch and punch with him with all viciousness. If Mosley will come prepared for a 12 round fight and ready to chase Floyd around the ring without tiring out and fading during the Championship round, then, Mosley can most definitely win.
PBF knows Shane can hit hard and there’s a possibility that he can be hit with a haymaker and be KO’ed. So, that’s why PBF requested an immediate REMATCH clause perhaps Floyd’s skill is already slipping. But still Shane’s conditioning will be key. If 39 year old Shane does not find the fountain of youth until May 1, he might as well just dive down and flop. Pac-Clottey fight will be more exciting than Sugar-PBF.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:35 AM
Mayweather is forced to fight mosely he tried to make a way out but he realized he can not do that because he will be a laughjing stock if he refused fighting mosely with or without a legitimate reason. At this point in time any delay or cancellation of this fight will not be acceptable to fans. Hope this fight materialize but i still cross my finger till the first round happens.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:36 AM
Cotto defeated Mosley. Pacquiao dominated Cotto. Can anybody tell me what the heck Mayweather can gain from Mosley? Why doesnt he go after Cotto and KTFO him in round 1? Now that will be REDEMPTION for PBF.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:55 AM
FLOyd we are coming to the american heartlands!!! the pacmania invasion is on and up another notch!!!!! No quarters will be given!!!! FLOMOS beware
February 9th, 2010 at 7:08 AM
No the critics were never silenced. A lot of them are still asking questions like the following:
1. Will Floyd use xylocaine on his fight with Mosley?
2. Will the NSAC finally ban xylocaine like the other 49 states?
3. Why it took him an eternity to sign the contract?
4. Why he insisted on an IMMEDIATE rematch clause if he is very confident that he will whup Mosley’s ass?
5. Why he keeps on talking more about Pacquiao than Mosley if he says that he doesn’t need the Pacman and it is Manny who needs him?
6. Will Uncle Roger be available during training or will he be in jail.
7. If uncle Roger goes to jail will he ask his ex-convict drug dealing Daddy to train him?
8. Why it took him 10 years to finally agree to fight Mosley?
9. Why, why and why? There are still so many questions that Pretty In Pink Gayweather has to answer.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:11 AM
To phiripin-jin! When have you seen Mosley fade in a fight? One example please!!! lol.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:30 AM
When a person ducks/avoids another fighter, that means he ducked – period!
When Mayweather was offered a rematch against dela Hoya and he retired – thats avoiding/ducking a fight. When Mayweather was offered 8 or 12mil for a faight against Margarito and he refused -that’s ducking. FIGHTING MOSLEY WILL NEVER CHANGE THAT… PERIOD!
That only means he duck Mosley before but not today… sadly, you can NEVER say that to the OTHER FIGHERS he tried to avoid.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:41 AM
Fight the Pacman Floyd, no alibis, fight the Pacman and prove yourself. what a coward you are for not fighting the PACMAN.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:44 AM
Come on Floyd, prove yourself, Fight the Pacman, lets see if you are really good, you talk too much, no talk just fight Floyd.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:45 AM
Why Mayweather wont fight Pacquiao? It is simply because Pacquiao agreed to be tested less than a month prior to the fight and to be held at Dallas Cowboys Stadium which is xylocaine is badly banned. Understand?
February 9th, 2010 at 7:47 AM
Oh yes, Mayweather does not need Pacquiao after a Mosley fight because he’ll be dead.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:51 AM
MOSLEY will kill floyd.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:30 AM
This fight has been signed but not delivered yet! The signing took a much longer while than normal. Will the delivery take as long? Or will it ever be delivered?
I just hope Pacquiao doesn’t win convincingly like he did with his last 4 fights. Otherwise this fight may never get delivered! (Against Marquez, the delivery was postponed for a few months and PBF cheated by not honoring the catch weight. With this fight, the time taken for the signing itself looks like a sign of things to come. Believe this fight on the day it happens. Hopefully I’m still alive by that time.)
February 9th, 2010 at 8:41 AM
mosley too slow for PBF. Thats the main factor why hell lose.I GUARANTEE YOU ALL THAT!
February 9th, 2010 at 8:43 AM
THIS IS THE FIGHT THAT WILL SURELY GIVE MAYWEATHER HIS FIRST LOSS.
IN THAT CASE…
YES IN THAT CASE, MANNY PACQUIAO, NOR FREDDIE ROACH, NEITHER THE WORLD WILL ENTERTAIN HIM/THEM AT ALL..
IM SURE HE WILL STARVE WITH NO MORE BENJAMINS IN HIS POCKET, LIKE WHAT HE DID RECENTLY, HE THREW 40,000,000 DOLLARS DEW TO HIS COWARDNESS..
IM SURE HE WILL EVEN GO WITH THE NON-OLIMPIC STYLE DRUG TESTING, OR EVEN ALLOW PACMAN TO USE PEDS, OR CYLOCANE (WHATEVER), LIKE WHAT HE & OSCAR HAVE BEEN USING..
THEN THE MOST ENTERTAING FIGHT WILL BE…..
MANNY PACQUIAO vs SHANE MOSLEY
February 9th, 2010 at 9:01 AM
LOL, gayweather as usual talk about pacquiao not mosley… he should be practicing how to run este how to box now! and,@doubletangoromeo, it took him 5 days to sign the contract because golden eggs upps, golden boy took them 5 days to convince mosley to dive the fight… tsk tsk tsk!
February 9th, 2010 at 9:09 AM
The best way for Mayweather to sign the contract fight against The Pacman in a quickest manner is to include in the contract that either Manny will fight with handcuff or blind folded. There you go brave May!
February 9th, 2010 at 9:23 AM
I think Mosley will destroy Mayweather. Mosley has a determination to win so He could fight Manny and earn more respect and money in the future.
February 9th, 2010 at 9:25 AM
Y mayweather took so long to sign? R u serious…..the point is he put the pen to paper….now people think this fight is gonna be staged?….seriously?…..dumbest shit i heard of in my life……people wanted this fight for years and now since its here and the fight aint even here yet ya already findin excuses…..mosley old….but when he beat up margorito he was the best fighter on the planet….dam….is floyd that good that those thoughts have to come to ur mind?….ya aint talk about no other fight bein fixed….but since its mayweather it gotta be fixed…..smh…grow up forreal…..
February 9th, 2010 at 9:26 AM
FLOYD is the BEST! but HE will DIE before the FIGHT! HE cannot SLEEP thinking how MOSLEY will KILL HIM come fight night.. HE will takte DRUGS to CALM his FEARs and DIE UNDEFEATED!!
February 9th, 2010 at 9:27 AM
What floyd has proven in fihting Mosley? he will never fight again a younger fighter? WOW! He said I came out of retirement to fight the best! lets rephrase that, i came out of retirement to fight the oldest! WOW first he fought a 36 year old bloated marquez and now a 39 year old inactive mosley! WOW Mosley said about his losses, i’m proud to sya that i lost to fighters who he doesnt want to fight! WOW mosley was defeated by cotto who was dismantled by pacquiao!
February 9th, 2010 at 9:32 AM
if i were to beat i will choose floyd in this fight,..i have no doubt about their skills they’re all virtouso in terms of boxing but,..for me age will be matter…
February 9th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
Valero vs. Pacquiao!!!!!!!!
February 9th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
The fact that GBP is involved, means that they’ve fixed the fight for Shane to lose. For Oscar, paying judges, fixing fights is his best asset. How do you think Berto got out of his fight with Shane? So, the question is, what round is Shane going to take the dive?
February 9th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
That’s the way it should be.Mayweather Jr. should be very busy by now training against Mosley fight.Anyway both are very good match up.Pacquiao ’s team never underestimate match up opponent of him,not then not now.Floyd seems not the same mental acceptance for his coming fight.Mosley is a legitimate welterweight fighter and owes nothing from Floyd but got to collect for all his time of waiting and shame resulted with it.mosley is like raring bull smoking bull that matador Floyd should perish in a dance. Some strong video news images got stuck in my mind from Spain.well it is both worthy to watch and see ,Pacquiao vs Clottey and Mayweather Jr. vs Mosley ,boxing wins.
February 9th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
another dumbest article!how can this be great when its already done fix deal!certainly mosley will lose this fight,if you are the promoter how can you promote for a future fight with an old cow who no longer have reflexes.
February 9th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
Yes of course Floyd have to fight a top welterweight. If not Mosley then Pacquiao. So you’re right: if anyone believed floyd will never fight a top welter, then they are wrong, because he will. what the critics are saying is he’s cherry-picking opponents. i hope you understand that. floyd will fight a top welter, if he was not forced into mosley, he will fight pacquiao. in that statement you are right. but this does not mean he did not cherry-pick opponents and if he was not forced to mosley, you cannot say he will not continue to do so.

Shane will be in shape as i’ve never seen him fade as Shane as phiripin-jin thinks. Fountain of youth and all that b.s. give me a break. I see this like Hatton – Kosta. Shane is going to chase Floyd and probably catch him with the left hook backing up. Floyd is booooring so I dont understand why all of you boxing idiots think his fight with Pac would be more exciting than Pac-Shance. Floyd fights you when you fight him. He’s a classic boooring counterpuncher!!Absolute idoits!! Update…. Klitchko landed more punches in 10 rounds in a Heavyweight Championship fight than Floyd threw in 12 rounds against a smaller Marquez. You guys are f#ck!n stupid!!!

“What people don’t know about the sport of boxing. In a fighter’s career, a fighter starts off good and he’s good until the end of his career or a fighter starts off good and then goes downhill towards the end of his career.” – Floyd Chicken
so it means he doesn’t consider Mosley a tough opponent because he is old at age 39? then he will say he love challenge himself? LOL common floyd you always contradict yourself…hahahaha
February 9th, 2010 at 11:45 AM
Maybe yes, its already a done fix deal… but it will be nice to see floyd kissing the ground at least one time with that big mouth.. go mosley
February 9th, 2010 at 11:48 AM
Mosley taking a dive against Mayweather lol. Yall need to chill.
February 9th, 2010 at 12:39 PM
I SIT BACK AND LAUGH……PEOPLE WAS NOT TALKIN LIKE THIS WHEN SHANE KNOCKEDOUT MARGORITO…….R YA SELF CONCIOUS THAT YA REALLY KNOW MAYWEATHER WILL WIN SO YA HAVE TO FIND A LAME EXCUSE ON Y HE WON….DAM THEY AINT EVEN FIGHT YET…….SHANE MOSLEY WASNT OLD LAST YEAR….Y IS HE OLD NOW…..MOSLEY WASNT OLD WHEN HE WAS ABOUT TO FIGHT BERTO…..BUT HES OLD CUZ HE ABOUT TO FIGHT FLOYD…..SMH….I THOUGHT MAYWEATHER WAS SCARED OF MOSLEY?….NOW SINCE HE BOUT TO FIGHT THE PERSON YA SWORE HE DUCKED FROM HERE COMES THE EXCUSES….KEEP THEM COMIN…..IT JUST MAKES YA LOOK THAT MUCH IMMATURE….I WONDER Y NOONE TALKIN BOUT CLOTTY TAKIN A DIVE………HOW IS PACMAN FIGHTIN A FIGHTER UR LAST OPPONENT BEAT….LOL….
February 9th, 2010 at 1:14 PM
Ten years ago, Floyd would never think of having anything to do with Mosley because Mosley was truly the #1 pound for pound boxer of the world; hence, his being called “Sugar” ala Sugar Ray Robinson and Sugar Ray Leonard. Now of course, Floyd has a little confidence that Mosley is no longer what he used to be and old at that. But for his beating up Margarito, Floyd probably would think that it was time to take the candy from the baby. He might get the biggest surprise in his life. A lot of boxers at 40 and above are still going strong and beating up younger opponents.
February 9th, 2010 at 1:16 PM
Mosley and Mayweather is not gonna happen until we see both hitting each other atop the ring on May 1! New development will come out right after the Pacquiao-Clottey fight! $40M is simply too huge for Mayweather to let go risking a fight with Mosley. If he does fight Mosley, he will fight not to lose doing what he does best in the ring…running around!

FM talks like a parrot. Blah blah blah blah, I I I am the best.
FM said that Pacman was defeated 3 times. That is true, so was the great Ali. But Pacman did not start with good support for proper nutrition in his first fights. Just a bowl of rice and courage to fight for little money. If you look at Pacman in his earlier fights, he was literally skin and bones. In contrast, FM had his luxury of dad and “famous” uncles grooming him (fed a lot of Kentucky Fried Chicken I guess) selecting smaller guys as opponents for easy wins.
I tell you what, Mosley will flatten FM’s socalled ‘pretty face’ and knock him out for good. I guess, after May the parrot will stop talking.
February 9th, 2010 at 1:32 PM
Gosh, floyd fights his first p4p fighter in his own weight division and everyone is near climax. Yes, i’ts impressive, but let’s not act like it cures all his wrongs. You got manny who has fought 4-5 HOFer’s, and FLoyd fighting his 1st one at the tail end of his career. Let’s be straihgt, calzaghe was some 49-0 with a better resume than Floyd, eat that NH’s, Holler!
February 9th, 2010 at 2:00 PM
Man people are haters now days they say mayweather never fought anybody good??? Was oscar not good???? Was ricky hatton undefeated before he fought mayweather???? And people say he only beat marquez cuz of 2 pounds cmon now people put on an extra 10 pounds sometimes the night of the fight why isn’t no one complaining about pacquaio fighting a weaker fighter then floyd cuz if floyd would of picked ne body else to fight he would be getting crucified right now

Pacfans are not boxing fans, they just jockers. First Mosley was too big of a challenge for Pac, now all the sudden Floyd stepped up and Mosley is old and the fight has to be fixed, and all the sudden Pac is calling Mosley out. Pac is already predicting a Mosley victory. Roach has told Mosley he is “too good” to fight Pac straight to Mosley’s face. So he is “too good”for Pac, not good enough for Mayweather(too old) yet Floyd is supposed to be the weak link? Sounds logical to me…Yeah right in Pacland that is logic at it’s best. STF up

I still believe this fight will not happen. mayweather will “hurt himself during training” and cancel the fight. But once he steps into the ring with Mosley, only then I will beleive. Go Go Shane teach this F*&K-face something about anything, he needs it badly.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:35 PM
gona be a great fight. waiting for pacman to fight one of the top three welts. hope it happens soon. should have fought mosley instead of cotto. secound mayweather getting at least 20 million for fight. then a portion of the gate and ppv sale so could make 30 mill or more for this fight. mosley will make more off this fight then clottey and pacman combined. and for the record. owner of the cowboys bought 50,000 dollers worth of tickets for the pacman fight. and tickets only ranged from 50 to 700 ring side. mosley mayweather ranged from 340 to 16,000 dollers as was with the mayweather delahoya fight. hait it or love him all roads truely do lead to mayweather.
February 9th, 2010 at 2:53 PM
poor floydie he has to fight mosley wich is the fight that he never wanted in the first place, he should have just fight pac and forget about dreaming of cleaning boxing. he is dirty and guilty anyway of that xylocaine. who knows he might be the one who is using ped and roids.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:03 PM
Clottey fight is not an easier fight for Paquiao than Mosley is to Mayweahter. Previous fights have shown that Mosley was defeated by Cotto, and Cotto, although decisioned Clottey, Clottey would appear to be the winner in that fight for the viewing public. The harder challenge is offered to Pacquiao, not Mayweathwr.
February 9th, 2010 at 3:09 PM
Mayweather/Mosley will be a great fight to the end like Leonard/Hearns. This fight can go either way both boxers are very high caliber athletes with great skill and conditioning. People can say what you want about Mayweather but he shows up in every big fight and Mosley has something to prove to floyd and the boxing world as a whole add on a rivalry brewing for about 10yrs and you got a instant classic. Can’t wait til May 1 st !!!. Pac/Clottey doesnt compare because all clottey is gonna do is stand there and let Pac Tee Off on him.

Pacquiao Knocks Out The Mayweather Name!
Published by Scoop Malinowski on February 9th, 2010
Print This Post Print This Post | Email This Post Email This Post | RSS Feeds RSS
The mere presence of Manny Pacquiao knocked out Floyd Mayweather’s self-proclaimed nickname of “Money.” The pound-for-pound pretender cackled for years about how he was Money Mayweather and, If it makes dollars it makes sense. $200 million liquid.
Mark Kriegel of Foxsports.com asked the pound-for-pound fraud if he was disappointed the big money fight with Manny Pacquiao did not come off. (Keep in mind how many times advisor/liar Leonard Ellerbe told the media how eager Floyd was to fight Manny Pacquiao.) “Not at all. Not at all. Not at all,” repeated Mayweather three times. “Because I’m happy within myself. The thing is, what people fail to realize – money don’t make me. I make money. You know what I’m sayin? Money doesn’t define what Floyd Mayweather is. (He’s right about that – ducking does.) Because if I was money-hungry I would say, I don’t care what a fighter is taking. I don’t care if a fighter takes a drug test or not. Let me fight. I just want to get the money. I stand down and behind what’s right.”
Floyd “I’m not money-hungry” Mayweather is full of you know what, once again. He wants the money but he doesn’t want the money if it means he has to get brutally abused and knocked out by Manny Pacquiao. Because all the money in the world couldn’t hide those photos, images and videos of Mayweather getting violently knocked out by Manny Pacquiao.
“I don’t care what the critics say. Floyd Mayweather fights for Floyd Mayweather,” he also said earlier in the interview. “I live my life for myself and for my family. When it’s all said and done, the critics aren’t gonna pay – come to my house and pay my bills. And I just do what I do.”
Kriegel asked Mayweather when he will beat Pacquiao, assuming like most fans that the fight will eventually come off. But Floyd isn’t as eager as Ellerbe claimed he was. “Whenever it happens, if it happens,” said Mayweather. “With or without Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather is okay.”
Wait a second. Doesn’t Floyd want Pacquiao to agree to the 14 days? Shouldn’t the fraud be saying, As soon as Manny Pacquiao agrees to a random test 14 days before the fight?
Why doesn’t Floyd want an easy $40 million payday for a fight he says would be easy because Pacquiao is one-dimensional?
It’s hard to keep up with all the lies this fraud and his team tell the media. But one thing I am sure of: Fraud Mayweather knows he better avoid Manny Pacquiao at all costs if he wants to keep his career going. The humble shall be exalted and the exalted shall be humbled. Manny Pacquiao is his worst nightmare.
Mayweather never wanted to fight Pacquiao and now it’s becoming clear he never will fight Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao is just too good, too dangerous. All the money in the world ain’t worth getting slaughtered by a Filipino for the whole wide world to see.
This interview is a new clue for the uninformed and deceived. Manny Pacquiao has now knocked out “Money” from the name and persona of Floyd Mayweather without even having to throw a single punch. Just imagine how he’d re-arrange Floyd’s being if he ever got him in a ring. Unfortunately, for many boxing fans, the fight will never happen. All the money, all the influence and power from HBO and Golden Boy are not enough to push a coward into the ring against Manny Pacquiao.
“With or without Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather is okay.”

YEAH! HE SIGNED TO FIGHT MOSLEY WHEN MOSLEY WAS ABOUT TO SIGN HIS “AARP” MEMBERSHIP CARD.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:41 PM
MOSLEY SHOULD ALSO SIGN FOR HIS INSURANCE AT HARTFORD………
February 9th, 2010 at 4:46 PM
IT’S NOT MAY 1ST YET SO DON’T COUNT ON IT.IF MANNY BEATS CLOTTEY. HE MIGHT HAVE SECOND THOUGHTS. IMAGINE 8 MILLION AGAINST 50 MILLION????? THAT’S A LOT OF DOUGH……
February 9th, 2010 at 4:49 PM
Fight is never a cake walk. Every fighter always think they will win. Mayweather thinks he can beat Shane with no problem. Shane thinks the same and he has the experience. The risk for both fighter are great but the disadvantage goes to Floyd. He has a lot to lose. Like, pride, 40-0, $40 million payday, P4P title, First fighter he faced that has a chance to beat him, the badmouthing of Pac-man, the greatest boxer of the era and the crazy “random blood testing” originator. With all of these, he can end up in mental institution. Well sometimes people are not perfect coz we are only human. So this is it, we have to lose
February 9th, 2010 at 4:51 PM
In all honesty we all know Floyd doesn’t like this Mosley fight. Because of the Haiti earthquake, Andre Berto, the supposed to be opponent of Shane has pulled out of the fight. Floyd was cornered and nowhere to go but fight Shane. Should that earthquake not happened I guess Floyd is determined not to fight top level welterweights like Mosley, whom he avoided for a decade now. He would prefer to fight the likes of Nonito Donaire and Ivan Calderon…
February 9th, 2010 at 4:52 PM
MARK MY WORD MOSLEY’S HEART WILL BE BROKEN……………..
February 9th, 2010 at 5:11 PM
Some of you have valid points. I guess we will see on May 1. if Floyd steps in the ring with Mosley. Some of you are off the hook when did I say Floyd was my hero. STFU
February 9th, 2010 at 5:16 PM
Both fights are good ones!! You cant give me tickets to a Floyd fight UNLESS he is fighting someone really aggresive. I live here in Vegas & have yet to go see Floyd fight. I’ve been to at least 4-5 Pac Fights, 3 of Shanes fights and a good amature card at the Orleans a cpl of weeks ago which had a great 4round Pro fight that had more action than Floyd has produced in his entire carreer. Floyd has great skills but also has a greatness for booring fans to the point that you dont miss much unless he fights someone that’s going to fight him!! If you don’t expect much from Floyd you might not be disappointed.
February 9th, 2010 at 5:39 PM
This is a better match up than the Pac v.s. Clottey fight. Alot of people who were critisizing Floyd for ducking should be feeling really embarrased right now. In this sport you should be to critical and jump to conclusions. Oh and buy the way…Pacquiao uses enhancing drugs.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:05 PM
“he(mayweather)got pushed into this fight. he really didn’t want it” – shane mosley
February 9th, 2010 at 6:12 PM
@Mr Romeo. How’s Pac using ped’s?? I thought we went through this sh!t. You really think that cleaning your system up before a superfight wouldn’t drain you??? I mean if your on the sauce they have to drain it out of you and I would think that process would drain you as well. No way in hell. Floyd had no choice but to fight Shane since he was calling “no name fighters” out before Shane became available. Floyd has been ducking the best end of discussion. It does not mean he cant win but he has ducked a few fights. Rematch with Oscar hintttt…
February 9th, 2010 at 6:24 PM
MrRomero,
You’re the one jumping to conclusions about Manny using PEDs. Once again, a baseless accusation from an ignorant XyloFloyd fan.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:28 PM
donnie love…actually floyd has fought some of the best fighters in the world during their prime, castillo twice, since the first fight was very close and coulda gone either way. castillo was at the top of his game, same with coralles, same with zab judah who shoulda scored a knockdown against floyd since floyds glove touched the canvas, hatton, baldomir. Floyd has faced some great opponents at their prime. And lets not forget that mosley was the one who ducked floyd when floyd was on the rise and called out sugar shane some 8 or 9 years ago. Floyd was ranked #1 before he “retired” for a reason. now its just a matter of time before he gets that top spot again.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:36 PM
pete how would a rematch against a washed up DLH change anything. (lets not forget that floyd moved up in weight just to fight DLH’s bitch ass) nobody wants to see that fight. Who has floyd ducked? As i recall it was pacman who refused the random testing, not the other way around. If it were such a huge deal then why did mosley agree to it no problem? just raises the suspision especially since pac and roach had allready agreed to take the tests. Just when “olympic testing” was said, they change their mind? give me a break. We dont know if manny is or isnt taking peds, all i know is that hes not making it easy to believe that hes not. and once again i will say that mosley ducked floyd 8 or 9 years back, he still a great fighter to this day, but lets be honest, he needs a pay day
February 9th, 2010 at 6:37 PM
Come on the only reason why Floyd has a real opponent is because Shane was not available before Clottey. Do you guys really believe that Pac-Shane wouldn’t have happened??? Give me a break Floyd has no choice. Too bad for Shane because unlike Floyd, Shane would have made the fight with Pac happen. Stop kidding yourselves!!If there were any way possible that Shane was available during Clottey it would have happened and we would have had a much better fight than the Pac-Floyd crap every nobody keeps talking about. Actually if everything works out we still might. Pac – Shane is where the action is at!
February 9th, 2010 at 6:41 PM
SABRINA,SABRINA,SABRINA. THE TOPIC OF YOUR ARTICLE IS ABOUT FLOYD’S SHIFT ATTENTION TO MOSLEY, BUT YOU MENTIONED PACQUIAO’S NAME MORE THAN MOSLEY,WHAT’S THE DEAL???????
February 9th, 2010 at 6:48 PM
floyd would be waiting for the winner if pacman and mosley fought. simple as that. I would much rather see an unbeaten floyd against arguably the best fighter in the world right now. That is a fight that has been talked about for years and years with fans hoping that manny could one day fight at welterweight. Im happy to see a fight against floyd and sugar shane though, even though it would have been a much better more exciting fight had it happened earlier in the decade, say 2002-2004. Just too bad shane ducked floyd back then. this fight defintley still has potential to be great
February 9th, 2010 at 6:52 PM
pete, you do make a good point though, pacman mosley would definetly be a great fight to watch with non stop action. this is a fight that will probably happen since those are the 3 best fighters in the world and they are all fighting at 147 so im sure we will see them all face eachother either by the end of this year or sometime next year. Unless is something happens like sugar shane beats floyd (i dont think will happen) and then we get some kind of pacman mosley trilogy.
February 9th, 2010 at 6:57 PM
just hopefully pacman will agree to random olympic style testing. It just might become the standard real soon, and after he refused against floyd, i wouldnt be surprised if sugar shane asked pacman to do the same testing if a fight between pacman and mosley were ever in the works.
February 9th, 2010 at 7:19 PM
First…I’m a Huge Fan of Both Fighters. I take my hat off to Floyd “Money” Mayweather for taking this fight, because Sugar “Shane” Mosley will be his most DANGEROUS opponent to-date. Now, here is how I see the fight. Floyd will have to use his legs like never before. Stick and Move! And look really good doing it! IMO–that’s the only way he pulls off a decision in 12 Rds. To win this fight Floyd will have to do some DEEP SOUL SEARCHING. Preparations for this fight is going to be KEY in a victory for Floyd Mayweather. However, Sugar Shane Mosley will cut the ring off every chance he gets. If Shane Mosley hit Floyd to the body early in this fight it’s going to be a tough night for Floyd. Because, Shane will only get stronger as the fight goes on. The pressure that Shane is going to bring to Floyd will be nothing Floyd has ever dealt with. Sugar Shane Mosley is going to cut the ring off and leave Floyd NO OTHER CHOICE but to fight and trade punches with him. IMO–that will be Floyd’s biggest mistake, because “Sugar” Shane Mosley can HIT! He’s got speed and power. If Shane senses any FEAR in Floyd during those early rounds this fight will end up in a KNOCKOUT! Sugar “Shane” Mosley will hand Floyd “Money” Mayweather his first lost. This fight will not go 10 Rds. I’ve noticed since Shane has changed Trainers he has the “look of fire” in his eyes. This is a Fight I’ve been wanting to see for a very long time. IMO–This could be the FIGHT OF THE DECADE… May 1, 2010.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:19 PM
Fight of the decade would have Floyd involved in it with either Shane or Pac only because he has the patience to go all 12 rounds. However, the best fight for the fans is Pac-Shane. Two action fighters that move foward. I dont get excited for Floyd fights so I dont understand all the hype. I believe that everyone on here agrees that you have to bring the fight to Floyd to get a fight. It will be interesting to see Shane try and take him out but I do keep in mind that Floyd is the best defensive fighter out there and even for Pac it would be hard to take the best defensive fighter/counterpuncher/sprinter out. Let’s see Shane and Pac and you will get a great ACTION fight that will not go 12 BOORING rounds.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:42 PM
bring on manny pacquiao vs shane mosley! battle of the REAL BESTS WW! brriing iiitt ooonn!!
February 9th, 2010 at 8:44 PM
If i were Msley I will hire Roach as trainer consultant. I think that will help him in beating PBF. If that happens I think PBF will walk out again. Good luck to Mosley, I thinke he is good enough to beat this loud mouth quacking machine.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:46 PM
@ André & Pete Fly
Sugar Shane has problems with boxers with a great jab. Also, I didn’t say Mostley faded on his previous fights. Read my comments above twice before posting. Even if he came in his best condition on May 1, the PBF boxing style doesn’t favor him. But I will give Shane a 50/50 chance 10 years ago when Shane is still in his prime (29-31 years old) age. Read this article, interview of PBF;
http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=25240
Shane is 39 year old and past his prime. When he fought a shot Mayorga he can’t even finish him until the last second. That was an UGLY fight. Then last fight, Margarito without the plastered fist didn’t adjust his style being a pressure brawler and just basically stood in front of Shane. Mostley lose to Cotto because Cotto’s jab & boxing skill. Margarito lacks skills and without those plaster fist he got no answer to Shane that night.
But PBF is 6 years younger and also in the best shape of his life with the best boxing technique in the business today. PBF act as a matador in the ring. Mostley fast jabs will be negated the PBF. I give Shane the first 4 round, if Shane doesn’t KO PBF by that time he will lose. PBF is a master at timing, Mostley will be hitting air most of the time from 6 rounds onwards. This will tire out Shane and that’s why I think he will fade on the Championship rounds. At this point this fight will be an utterly boring.
On why a Pac-PBF fight is more exciting that this fight. Mostley inability to handle a boxer with a great jab is well documented. Pac also have same problem before in Morales & Marquez’s counter-punching style, but he can handle them now as shown in domination of Cotto. Pac in-fighting and unorthodox fighting style is the key to PBF downfall. Pac frenetic and unfamiliar style will put PBF in a disadvantage. Also, Pac is younger than PBF and has unlimited stamina. This is your answer why Pac-PBF is more exciting than PBF-Mostley fight.
February 9th, 2010 at 8:49 PM
BTW. I really don;t care if Manny or Mayweather happens. I care m ore about PBF fighting tougher opponents and see if he is really that good. At least two of them two more not only Pacquaia, Mosley but I would prefer someone like Paul Williams to prove that he is really tha great.
February 9th, 2010 at 9:52 PM
phiripin
No way in hell. you dont know boxing!
Do you know in boxers??? How the hell do you train for Mayorga???? You just get in shape! Shane didn’t have any problems with Oscar’s jab and lets see….Shane did beat Oscar in his prime while Floyd got away with a split decesion. Shanes problem might had been with Wink but lets get real on that too… how much of a reach advantage did Wink have and how much taller is he? Floyd- Shane is whatever to me just like Floyd – Pac. Like I said I live here in Vegas and I haven’t been caught at a Floyd fight and probably never will. Most of his fights are all hype and he throws very few punches because his hands are frail. Know your stuff before you bring that nonsense here. We will not know who wins any of these fights until the actually throw down. Margarito was the 4 to 1 favorite I believe so stop the bull$h!t, get off of the nuts and let the fight happen. I have some stock I want to sell you and want to send you the information in writing since you buy everything you read without doing your homework. Where do I send it to?
February 9th, 2010 at 11:03 PM
@ Pete Fly
So you’re a Shane Lover… Did I hit the soft spot, eh? No need to react like a juvenile…. it is just my opinion man. Everyone is entitled to his opinion. If you can’t write a better argument than that then you’re free to f**k off. I give my technical analysis of the fight and the best you can say is “no way in hell”… WTF
But here is some facts…Shane beat a prime Oscar using BALCO PED. Shane did admit to it in the Court of Law. So that fight must be a NO CONTEST. Shane will get an asterisk for that.
Margarito was 4 to 1 with those plaster fist. Without those plaster is just a plain “0″.
Let us see what will happen when PBF-Shane on May 1. Why do think PBF signed the contract without drama? Yes it’s been 5 days delayed… but that’s all. Personally, I want Shane Mosley to win…. So that Pac can do battle with Shane which I think is an easier fight than PBF. But that is just my opinion… and you’re entitled to your opinion. You could keep whatever you’re selling, I am not buying. And you do need it when PBF win an UD on May 1. LOL

That’s good commenting with the pacman while time is running out to concentrate with the fight against Mosley cause Gayweather will be knocked out by Mosley come fight night! And it’ll be a big celebration not only to Mosley but for the whole world seeing Gayweather hitting his face on the canvass!
February 9th, 2010 at 11:16 PM
After a big lose to Mosley he will face the lawsuit of the Pacman and once again he will be knock down by a boxer that he hates so much cause he’s not the only one who will be knocked out but his uncle and bigfraud himself as well! Not to mention GBP and his puppet Ellerbe!
February 9th, 2010 at 11:42 PM
@ phiripin
i’m glad that you did not say you gave your EXPERT technical analysis because you are no expert in the sport of boxing! So peds help you slip jabs??? Shane beat Oscar twice didn’t he and who was Floyd beating at that time?? Oh I think I know…Angel Manfredy and Arturo Gatti!Floyd would have had problems with Wink, Vernon (rip) and anyone else bigger than him. Floyd’s best fight was against Diego (rip Michelle I love you it’s Pete)but there will be an * next to that win because we all know Diego was looking at jail time like Margarito was against Shane. I think you should bet your house on Floyd or put a large wager on him against Shane since you are so sure and post it right next to your technical analysis. I didn’t hear your excuse for the Mayorga fight either. I like Shane and any other FIGHTER. I was at the Mayorga fight and knew it would suck but I was still there because I knew Shane would try to get to him. Every one of my boxing friends that were there with me reminded me how dificult it is to train for Mayorga and how hard it is to look good. You would’t know anything about that because you really dont know how to break a fight down, you just read about it. As far as me being free to f@#k off come on down to Vegas if your not already here and hit me up with that tough guy/girl talk and we will see who f@#k$ off!
February 9th, 2010 at 11:57 PM
@ Pete Fly
As I said I give Shane the first 4 round, if Shane doesn’t KO PBF by that time he will lose. PBF is a master at timing, Mosley will be hitting air most of the time from 5 rounds onwards. This will tire out Shane and that’s why I think he will fade on the Championship rounds. At this point this fight will be utterly boring.
So why would I bet on it if I still am giving Shane a chance of winning. But you certainly think that Shane will win. So you bet your house then…

February 10th, 2010 at 1:34 AM
OK MR ROMERO!..
I’M CALLING “FLOYD AS CHICKEN” FAR MORE THAN HIM “DUCKING” ELITE GUYS BUT FOR HIM ACTING LIKE “CHICKEN” DURING NEGOTIATION WITH PACMAN!….
ACCUSING THE GUY OF PED!.. SO IT’S LIKE— I DON’T WANT TO FIGHT PACQUIAO— HE’S ON PED— IT MAKES ME HORRIFIED!!!!WHOOOO!….
MAYBE I CAN’T FIGHT “FEATHERWEIGHT” PEOPLE AS WELL BECAUSE THEY’RE ON PEDS!…. THAT’S WHY I CHEAT MARQUEZ FIGHT WEIGHING AS MUCH AS 20LBS HEAVIER AS WELL AS USING MY “XYLOCAINE”!!!!!!
WHAT THE HELL?????—- GET MY POINT MR. ROMERO???
NOW FLOYD WANTED TO “C-L-E-A-N” THE “WHOLE SPORTS” FOR “PED ABUSERS”????—- WOW!…
GOODLUCK TO FLOYDY BOY AND TO YOU MR. ROMERO!..
LIKE I SAID NOW IT’S “THE WHOLE WORLD AGAINST FLOYDY BOY”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February 10th, 2010 at 5:08 AM
FLOYD CAN’T GET A SINGLE PENNY FROM ME NOW, I’LL WATCH IT FOR FREE! HEHEHE
February 10th, 2010 at 7:18 AM
I didn’t say Shane would win. I said let them fight. Just pointing out that you dont know what your talking about. I’ve never heard of Shane tiring late in a fight and only getting the 1st 4 rounds plus having a serious problem with a jab. Are you sure your not talking about Iron Mike? How long did it take to time Hatton???? Hatton if you remeber (which I doubt sense you dont remember what you read) was all over Floyd recklessly.I hope your not saying that Hatton is anywhere near Shane’s skill level. Shane should win, Floyd could win but im not putting down stupid sh!t on here that does not make sense. I will say that I would “get tired” of chasing someone around in the ring but I wouldn’t tire. Floyd is d best defensive boxer out there and he just does not do anything for me. “The best defense is a good offense”
February 10th, 2010 at 12:15 PM
Because of the Economy…I myself can not put money on the Shane v.s. Floyd fight. But if I could I would. Floyd will beat Mosley. It has nothing to do with age. Floyd call him out years ago and would have beaten him then and any other time. No disrespect to Mosley, I would love to see someone knock the shit out of Floyd, but it won’t be him, or Pacquiao.
February 10th, 2010 at 12:22 PM
Pacquiao is a good pressure fighter, but Floyd’s skill and counterpunching ability would take the greedy pacquiao appart. (Remember Marquez’s countering abiltiy that gave Pacquiao his two bloody wars. Pac would find himself becoming frustrated and would begin losing his lead up to the 6th round once Floyd figures out and adapts to Paquiao, Floyd’s size and savy would prevail as the fight moves on. (Floyd has always demonstrated his ability to figure out his oppononents).
February 10th, 2010 at 12:23 PM
@ phiripin
Your not as sharp as you write. I have never heard of Shane having a problem going the distance, fading after 4 rounds and having a major problem with a jab. I think you have him confused with Iron Mike??? Floyd has just as much problems with a good jab as Shane like in the 1st part of the Oscar fight. Floyd would have problems with Wink’s jab I can tell you that but than again Floyd hasn’t really fought anyone worth anything. I think Floyd is a good nutralizer so we will see. I can see Shane “getting tired” of chasing Floyd but not tiring. Again, i truly believe you have Shane mixed up with Iron Mike. Hitting air…. damn you really dont know your boxing. Hasn’t Shane always gone to the body??? I can still hear his father in my head telling him in between every round of every fight that he trained him in to go to the body. Shit, I go to the body I heard it so much. I’m still waiting to hear your logic and im sure everybody else.
February 10th, 2010 at 12:33 PM
Against Mosley,,,well. Mosley did damn good against Margarito who I believed would beat Mosley after watching how Margarito pressured cotto with a barage of punches and beat him silly. I realy believed this was Margarito time! But then…Well, we all know the story about the plaster.
Floyd is not going to have the DISCREPENCIES that Margarito had going against Mosley. Meaning..Margarito is a Straight forward, No head movement, no speed and lacks ability to overvcome adversity.
February 10th, 2010 at 12:42 PM
I hope that after Mayweather beats Mosley he continues to demand Accurate WADA drug testing from Pacquiao, if they decide to start talks again once Manny beats Clottey (the easy fight) and Floyd gets through Mosley (the better fight).
But I know for sure that Bob is not going to let Pacquiao get ruined by Floyd and Golden Boy Productions. I guarantee you Bob will get the Margarito v.s. Pacquiao in the works after after the March 13 fight. And Pac will retire after that.
February 10th, 2010 at 2:01 PM
@ Pete Fly
Yeah, Shane has no problem going the distance in the past. But, he hasn’t fought PBF yet. Again, PBF is a master of timing. When Oscar fought him, ODH’s jab when clicking until 1-4 rounds. After that ODH isn’t throwing the jab, you know why, not that ODH is tiring… maybe a bit… but actually PBF already timed his counter-punch to ODH jab.
Shane jabs should really be aimed at the center/chest area of PBF to make him off- balance. Perhaps a Knockdown. PBF head will be futile to hit. Best if Mosley will walk thru PBF best punch and punch with him with all viciousness. (Read my #42 comments). You see I really want Mosley to win.
I disagree with Mr. Romero on views of Pac, but I do respect his opinions. Regardless the fight will be like Pryor vs. Arguello (R.I.P.) once again, we can almost compare to some extent Pac to Aaron Pryor (both are unorthodox fighter) and PBF to Alexis Argüello (both are technician). What’s the results? 2-0 to Pryor. Pac will KO PBF. Or a referee stoppage on latter rounds due to PBF excessive running and not fighting. Either way Pac WINS. Also, Pac is not greedy, Pac helps a lot of people especially his countryman, his humanitarian works is not limited on what’s in front of the camera. PBF was mistaken to thinks that Pac is greedy too, that’s why he demanded a lot of nonsense blood testing. PBF thinks that Pac will be blinded by greed to agreed to it. Poor Floyd, now he gets a lawsuit instead.
February 10th, 2010 at 2:13 PM
After Round 6 onwards, Shane connect percentage will go down to 20% or lower. That will be an indication that Shane will be hitting air… so Pete look at the percentage after the fight… Then, you will remember that I told you so…But, then again if Shane will connect with a hay-maker in early round, PBF might be KO’ed. Then, a rematch will be schedule within 4-5 months, like Duran vs Leonard…. Well this is just my opinion. Good day. Cheers
February 10th, 2010 at 3:06 PM
@ phiripin
I dont know who is going to win. I dont care if Floyd beats everyone with his style. I am not interested. Just like I am not interested in Marciano. I would want my child of close ones to learn Floyd’s technique but I wouldn’t expect them to make a carreer out of it. Floyd only gets paid when he fights Super Star opponents. Like I said I dont care who wins when Floyd is fighting. No one really knows who is going to do what or what NV has in mind. This is boxing & it’s in Vegas so we have to wait and see. I dont see Shane tiring and he is going to aim at Floyd’s chest. The real fight is Pac-Shane.
February 10th, 2010 at 3:41 PM
Mosley vs. Mayweather is better than Pac vs. May This will be more entertaining than people think. Mosley is not gonna let Floyd Run,run, run I believe Mosley will make him come out his shell and fight more. But Floyd can fight when he chooses to. He does that roll, roll, and then returns punches on the inside really good he’s the best at it.
And Shanes a sucker for the straight right hand. wich Floyd loves to through after the 6th round. Should be a great fight but I think Floyd by U.D.
February 10th, 2010 at 5:29 PM
@ Pete Fly
OK. I get you… Shane is your man.. and you don’t care about Floyd. But PBF has lose before fyi. PBF first loss was to a lefty in the Olympics. And, unofficial loss to Castillo 1st fight IMHO.
I am a Pac fan. I want to see Pac-Shane fight! Both fighters will look good fighting each other. But your man (Shane) needs to win BIG on May 1!
I will be rooting for Shane during the fight cause his a classy guy and the odds doesn’t favor him. But I hope to see Shane’s guard high and tight. Apply pressure like he never done before. And to crowd PBF wherever he goes, then blast PBF during in-fighting with those short and powerful haymakers. PBF is open for those left straights to the body. Bust PBF up really good…. now I am getting excited…. but then again PBF is so slick! dammit
PBF’s “L” or “Kronk” defense and shoulder roll will put Shane in a disadvantage. But it does favor Pac a southpaw, but thats a different fight. I really do hope Shane will not fade during the Round 6 onwards… Hope Nazim have a perfect game for Shane! Go Shane!
February 10th, 2010 at 10:54 PM
Why is Mayweather so proud that he is now fighting an elite boxer like Mosley? … in the first place, HE SHOULD REALLY BE FIGHTING ELITE FIGHTERS TO BE AT THE TOP OF P4P RANKINGS. Floyd thinks that we, the fans, didn’t know that he was just FORCED to step into the ring with Mosley. Floyd will be exposed as a true fraud.
February 11th, 2010 at 12:59 AM
The only way Mosley could win this fight is, if he is lucky enough to land some big blows. Otherwise he will be in trouble. Money May is much younger, faster, smarter and stronger than Mosley plus the fact that he’s got the best defense than anyone in boxing has today. I don’t see a knock-out in this fight and Floyd will win by unanimous decision.
Calling Mosley a dangerous opponent is an overstatement and only aimed to sell out the fight….
February 11th, 2010 at 11:23 AM
WINTER?
This isn’t Russia. I don’t think a gun was held to Floyd’s head. He’s wanted to fight Mosley 5 years ago and Mosley didn’t want it. This is a fact. However, if it makes you feel better to make it look like he’s going in there against his will O.K. Floyd would have taken on anyone else… but Floyd really has a small window of options when luring a big money fight. Since Pacquaio pulled out because of his drug use, Mosley is it. What other oponent.
February 11th, 2010 at 12:51 PM
Mr Romeo
Floyd has not wanted to fight Shane. You dont know people close to Shane & I do. If Mosley was available before Clottey than Floyd would be fighting the likes of Matthew Hatton and not even Clottey. Pac is choosing better fightets than Floyd and unfortunatly is stuck fighting Shane.
Phiripin
I’m not so much on Shane than I am any other fighter. I will say again that Floyd is a great defensive fighter that controls the tempo of every fight. However, he does nothing for me. Leaonard, Ali, Jones Jr. all had skills like PBF but at least they closed the show and that’s my problem with PBF, he does jsut enough to win but doesn’t have me jumping out of my seat. I would rather see Pac, Shane lose than watch 12 boooring PBF rounds of winning boxing. That’s just me.
February 11th, 2010 at 3:28 PM
I’m sorry Pete Fly> But I’ve seen an interview and read a few articles about Floyd Calling out Mosley 10 years ago when Mosley was unbeaten. I also seen this happen with my own eyes…Perhaps everyone is lying including my own eyes.
Pac is choosing better fights? Yeah..O.k. Who excactly has Clottey faught? Don’t fool me now, I’ve followed Clottey’s career. He’s rugged and strong, but lets face it. This is a simple fight from the get go and you can’t argue that. He’s lost three important fights..Cotto, Margarito and Baldomire. And let’s be honest Pete Fly, you know that Bob has already set his sights on getting Pac and Margarito set after March 13. Aside from drained, damaged good, or overrated beaten fighters his best fight is yet to come with Clottey…The human punching bag. I would say that your opinion of better fighters is YOURS.
February 11th, 2010 at 3:34 PM
Pete Fly…..”If Mosley was available before Clottey” Are you saying that Floyd caused the Haiti earthquake?..
And your right. Floyd would not go for Clottey because there wouldn’t be any money it. Clottey is an easy fight, Clotty is not a PPV draw and you know it. The only person making this fight is Pacquiao and it’s obvious because of the philipeno fan base he brings. Pac fans are so blinded by the HYPE, Pacquiao could fight Yori Boy Campas and still get the PPV event, He’s got a good crook that will sell it, Bob Arum.
February 11th, 2010 at 4:09 PM
One last thing Pete Fly…Your are absolutely right. Floyd is not an exciting fighter at all. He doesn’t make me jump out of my seat either, that’s for sure. However, The fact that I’m a boxing fan and not a Floyd fan eases the burden a little since I choose to follow much better and exciting fights .than the ones that Floyd participates in.
February 11th, 2010 at 5:08 PM
MrRomero
10 years ago Floyd wasn’t worth fighting especially the likes of Shane. Naseem called him out and he didn’t strp up. He was too busy fighting Manfredy & Gatti (rip). As of late he has not wanted to fight Shane. Ask Shane yourself. FYI I know a lil bit more insider info than you do. I’m not into dropping names but im as close as you can get to this believe me. F#@k all the media, im talking real live people. Who really cares?? No I did not blame Floyd about the tragedy in Haiti BUT once again I believe if Shane was avaialable before Pac signed with Clottey than we would be seeing a Shane -Pac fight. Floyd would be fighting someone lesser skilled than Clottey like Hatton or Malanagie or whoever he was calling out. so your theory of no money is not true.
You seem to be a Pac Hater. I happen to like his fights. Come on Barrera, Morales, Marquez,Oscar, Hatton, Cotto. His fights are legit. A lot of excuses after he beats them and some people thought he lost a few but at the end of the day he makes great fights. I dont see Floyd steping up anymore divisions fighting Paul Williams, Wink Wright, Hopkins etc…Pac is pushing himself so you can at least give him that. By the way, Clottey has fought as many good opponents as Floyd has and I dont think Pac has this win in the bag. I tell you what… those two guys including Shane put better shows on the PBF. Remember, I’m not saying that PBF isn’t a great fighter. I just dont think he has pushed himself to be considered the best P4P.
February 11th, 2010 at 5:29 PM
MrRomero you may have a point. After I read your post I back read all the comments here. I find it entertaining to say the least.
This absolutely made my day. “Are you saying that Floyd caused the Haiti earthquake?”. LMFAO. So f@$^ing hilarious.
Yeah, Pete Fly is Shane’s hommie. After a pactard-Phhrpine lectures him in boxing Floydie asswhoping Shane, he distance himself admitting he does not who will win. Before he was like “F@$^ you all id!0+s” and challenging all comers to vegas to pu$$y talk him in mano y mano… What a character!!! Shezz
But beware he will answer you back with all his emoticons or just another question… LOL
February 11th, 2010 at 6:29 PM
It makes me laugh when people say that Mosley is fast. For one, boxing is not a marathon. What you need in boxing is precision and timing. Mosley was beaten by Cotto eventhough Cotto is much slower than Mosley. Why? Cotto’s precision shots and timing makes the difference.
February 11th, 2010 at 7:22 PM
For some reason only half of the post is being displayed, is it my browser or the site?
February 11th, 2010 at 7:24 PM
Dude, Pacquaio is exciting I agree, but in my opinion (his drug performances and PED are still in question.
Oh MY God Pete, Please!!! Clottey has faught just as good opponents as Floyd. NO way in Hell. Floyd wasn’t worth fighting 10 years ago?.. Floyd faught Genero Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez..don’t let father time erase the qaulity of those fighters. And remember, he didn’t just beat them…he made it looke easy.
Floyd hasn’t wanted to fight shane recently and that’s because Shane was already beat, Naseem Hamad (I liked that guy). I don’t remember Floyd ducking him though.
Again your dead right about Floyd not doing what it takes to be considered the best P4P.
Now..As far as you being real close to sources. Sorry dude, that’s not realy good enough. I’m not calling you a liar, you seem to know boxing but you realize that peoples word on this site is as good as a grain of salt. maybe you should talk to your so called sources and have Shane confront the media and get the story straight.
February 11th, 2010 at 8:13 PM
Mr Romero
I’m so close its pathetic. Seriously. It’s not worth getting into but if you come to Vegas maybe we can catch up. Like I said I’m not going to name drop but I do know a bit about Shane that you or anyone else wouldn’t know unless they are in his corner. I will leave it at that. You do realize how many people call each other out right? But then it comes down to negotiations, contracts and all that non-sense. Clottey is legit or at least as legit as Malagani or Matt Hatton. I dont think Pac is on PED’S he would be drained before a fight if they drained it out of him. I just dont see it and he is not that big.
February 12th, 2010 at 12:30 AM

YO MR. ROMERO!.. 1ST OF ALL I’LL MAKE IT STRAGHT!…
THERE ARE 3-4 OF YOU RUNNING THIS “MR. ROMERO” USER NAME RIGHT???… AM I RIGHT???
YOU HAVE THIS 1 KID AND ANOTHER GUY AND ONE ADULT GUY!…
AND TO INCLUDE “NEXOTICUNIQUE”… SAME GUYS USING THIS 2 NAMES???… AM I RIGHT MR. ROMERO???
COZ LAST TIME I WAS TALKING TO A YOUNG MR. ROMERO– HE WAS A “KID”.. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN.. WE HAVE THE ADULT MR. ROMERO!…
I’M STILL SEARCHING FOR SOME DATAS BUT I THINK I’M ALMOST THERE KNOWING– WHO’S INSIDE THE MASK MY MAN!HAHA
AND ALL THAT MR. ROMERO IS TALKING IS THAT–
PACMAN IS ON STEROID!!!!!! AND KEEP ON SPREADING IT??!!!
ISN’T IT MY FRIEND!…..????
WHILE YOUR LOVABLE “FLOYDY BOY” IS ON “XYLOCAINE”!!!!… THE BEST “XYLOCAINE” USER OF THIS ERA!..
I BELIEVE YOU’VE SAID— XYLOCAINE SHOULDN’T BE BANNED IN NEVADA??? ETC ETC..
AM I RIGHT???
February 12th, 2010 at 11:55 AM
I’ve dominated the sport of boxing for years and done so in a very clean fashion.”
Yah right, Mr. Floyd Xylocaine Mayweathered! so you can punch without the consequence of normal pain associated with a punch…it’s clean all right!
February 12th, 2010 at 11:56 AM
Tyrone Smith, Erie PA: “Floyd knows there are so many fighters cheating because he’s one of them. Nevada needs to ban Xylocaine and leave fraudweather with no place to hide”
Phil Benton, Pittsburgh: In response to the Sky Sports interview, how can Mayweather clean up the sport when he takes a banned substance himself?
February 12th, 2010 at 11:57 AM
its in the family blood to take PED……They have been using PED all their life and its becoming a normal way of life in the family to use PED(floydroids, Floyd Sr, Roger and Jeff)……They’re getting use to it that PED becomes normal and legal substance to them……
February 12th, 2010 at 11:58 AM
Floydroids, I think he’s banging his head right now thinking for the best alibi. oh oh, I bet he’ll purposely try to hurt himself like break his little finger or something. Of course another rib injury would work or he will use gallons of xylocaine over his body and face to make it numb against power punches……or convince Mosley to intentionally lose the fight in exchange of fat bank..
February 12th, 2010 at 11:58 AM
Floydroids is PED user for 8 long years…He loves to fight smaller and older fighters and still has the guts to cheat them by injecting PED into his system…This boxer should be ban in boxing and jail for life where he’s rightly belong…..A drug addict with full of PED all over his body, tax evader, a cheater, and violated women’s right, etc, US government must get rid of this criminal out of society!!!
February 12th, 2010 at 11:59 AM
Both Floydroids and Mosley are evenly matched…But i give the edge on Floydroids because of xylocaine….Mosley power punches will have no effect on numb body and face of Floydroids…
February 12th, 2010 at 11:59 AM
Good luck..xylocaine vs. balco steroid is always a good match..we’ll finally which of these PEDs is more potent..anyway its legal, right?..just plain hypocrasy, period.
February 12th, 2010 at 12:00 PM
These two fighters deserved to be tested rigorously and not pacquiao. Shane is a proven steroid user and floyd is a cheater in weight and a xylocaine user to numb his hands. That is enough to raise suspicion that they will do everything to gain an unfair advantage to their opponent. Therefore this fight will be the fight of two cheaters in the game. Who will emerge as the best cheater of all time?! I bet mayweather would like to add that to his 0. Mayweather tries to discredit pacquiaos achievement by insunating that the only way he acn succeed is by the use of drugs. That is plain jealousy and envious that an asian boxer is greater than him. He says pacquiao started as and ordinary boxer and became extra ordinary! what a lameduck! pacquiao went straight to professional boxer and had to fight tough and best boxers along the way to earn money and respect. Mayweather looks extraordinary in his early fights because he was forced feed with bum boxers as he is protected by his promoters, pacquiao does not have the same protection early in his career. Mayweather said he ants to clean up boxing, why did he keep silent when mosley was found using steroids? and did not ask marquez to have blood test? what a hypocrite! what is he scared of pacquiao who he said is ordinary and one dimensional? He is afraid that pacquiao will reconfigure his face! hahaha
February 12th, 2010 at 12:01 PM
Marquez himself said in one interview that Floydroids came in 20 pounds heavier…Marquez was 148 and Floydroids was 168 pounds….GDP himself, promoter of Marquez, disclosed the real weight from Marquez camp…With this weight, he can compete against the best in super middleweight…..wha t a coward coming very heavy and fighting smalley and bloated fighter in Marquez…He is on something….Floydro ids from 106 pnd up to 168pounds….Who’s suspicious???????
February 12th, 2010 at 12:02 PM
Floydroids increase in weight is very suspicious..Both Pacman and Floydroids weight at 106 pound whey they were 16 years old..Now, the heaviest recorded weight to date for Pacman was 148 pounds(42 pounds diff) while Floyroids weight 168 pounds(62 pounds diff). In short, Floydorids weight is 20 pounds heavier compared to Pacman at fight night.Who’s the one who increase the weight faster?who’s suspicious?
February 12th, 2010 at 12:03 PM
i suspect floydroids of taking EPO because his performance and endurance are flawless and superb after taking 2 years lay off…Its seems he becomes better after years of inactivity compared to his fight before he took a long hiatus…He’s also a proven PED user in xylocaine.
February 12th, 2010 at 12:04 PM
Floydroids is a juicer and proven PED user for 8 long years!!!Damn!what a cheater!!!!He loves to fight smaller and older fighters and still has the guts to cheat them by injecting PED into his system….He’s a PROVEN PED USER FOR 8 LONG YEARS!!!8LONG YEARS!!!This PED user deserved to be ban in boxing along with Sugarroids….He’s a big cheater and ducker of all time….
February 12th, 2010 at 12:04 PM
i think this fight will happen between gayweather vs. mousely.. and the title of the fight is “THE DRUG USER” subtitle “XYLOCAINE VS. STEROID”
February 12th, 2010 at 12:05 PM
i can’t imagine how HYPOCRITE these people are. the gayweathers, de la hoya, schaeffer and now mosley! its like MOSLEY NEVER HAD BEEN USING DRUGS BEFORE. oh come on… everybody knows that you were using it before! and now your claiming to be clean and only you were victimized…BULLSHIT! and for GAYWEATHER who is using that drug called XYLOCAINE, a substance that almost all of the states are banning execpt for NEVADA, and claiming he is wants to play at a LEVEL FIELD… HOW HYPOCRITE these bunch of IDIOTS ARE? PACMAN has never never ever been found and using any of the DRUGS that mosley and the gayweather are using!
February 12th, 2010 at 12:05 PM
Floydroids vs Mosleyroids is a good match up…Let see which is best PED substance….steroids user or xylocaine user?I can hardly wait for these two PED user face each other inside the ring and see which PED substance is best…If floydroids lost, expect him to use what is very effective on Mosleyroids…that’s facts…
February 12th, 2010 at 12:57 PM
DBEST?…What’s up dude. I guess running with the xylocaine issue is only fair since many people are running with Pac’s use of Performance enhancing drugs. There’s a few things you need to know about Xylocaine.
1. It doesn’t increase size 2. It doesn’t make you stronger. 3. It does not build your stamina. 4. It doesn’t make you faster 5. It doesn’t make you powerful.
February 12th, 2010 at 1:01 PM
HOW ABOUT ANOTHER XYLOCAINE TEST. Find yourself a strong wall and hit it as hard as you can without xylocaine. Now..take some xylocaine and hit that wall again, according to you PAC fans, you should be able to break that wall into a millions pieces. Sorry guys, It won’t happen. You won’t hit that wall any harder than you already did. All your doing is hurting yourself more in the process and damaging your hands. Xylocaine use is more damaging to Floyd than it would be to any of his opponenets, trust me on this.
February 12th, 2010 at 1:08 PM
xylocaine is banned in 49 states in the us except in nevada that’s why kenducky floyd chicken won’t fight outside of las vegas. and if using xylocaine to numb your hands and gain unfair advantage in a fight is not cheating, then margarito is a saint……
February 12th, 2010 at 1:09 PM
Types of performance-enhancing drugs
3. Painkillers mask athletes’ pain so they can continue to compete and perform beyond their usual pain thresholds. Blood pressure is increased causing the cells in the muscles to be better supplied with vital oxygen. Painkillers used by athletes range from common over-the-counter medicines such as NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen) to powerful prescription narcotics.

Dbest says?…..”Pacquiao has NEVER TESTED POSITIVE”. Of course he hasn’t. That’s becasue he only tests after the PED’s are cycled out of his body. As long as he doesnt have random test he will always test negative. Bob Arum and Freddie Roach will make sure of that. The NSAC only test drug use by urine samples, the ANCIENT way and that’s after a fight. Not during training where he needs is drug the most. The blood test that the NSAC give 30 days prior to fighing only tests for HIV and other blood transmitted deseases. NSAC’s testing is also obsolete and not accurate, which is better for drug using boxers like Pacquiao.

xylocaine is considered PED(performance enhancing drugs)….Do u think his performance will be the same with or without this…..xylocaine is very important so you can’t feel the pain and still punch with full force without feeling pain and still be 150% confident…Do u think ur performance will not be affected if ur feeling so much pain in ur hand?why floydroids is taking it for 8 long years if it is not important??I think he will quit coz he will not bear the pain during fight…..this is out of ordinary and plays a very important role on his performance during fight….u get it…its a cheat act

Mosley and Floyd will undergo random testing under the GDP and Mayweather newly installed and controlled Commission.GDP bestfriend and golf buddies from USADA will head the newly installed Commission.Again, GDP fooled us again as he fooled us before when he hide his positive result of taking illegal substance in one of his fight. How much more capable he is in manipulating d test result when he’s now both the promoter and has full control of his new version of Commission with his USADA’s friend.
February 12th, 2010 at 1:18 PM
Once again Dbest, and it seems your agreeing with me. It’s not a stamina, power booster, growth hormone. All it does is hide the pain. You can’t knock someone out just because you use xylocaine…Why? Because you cannot hit harder with it. I agree with you that…it will give you an edge,,,ONLY as far as pain threshold. You should feel sorry for Floyd if anything because he could develope all kinds of problems using this annestetic…you should read the side effects of this stuff.
February 12th, 2010 at 1:21 PM
I think Golden boy is right that all PROVEN and CERTIFIED PED user should be banned in boxing…..on the list are…admitted roids user, xylocaine addict, d one who reportedly has history of hiding the positive result of banned substance on one of his fight…….
February 12th, 2010 at 1:27 PM
Floydroids is injecting xylocaine into his hands…..Why he is injecting for 8 long years?because it help him a lot both physically and mentally by numbing his hands to pain and still be 150% confident during fight….I’m pretty sure your confidence and mental toughness will be affected so much if you are under so much pain…..also the concentration and focus of a fighter will be affected too since it will bother him so much in a fight….So, xylocaine is considered PED since it is out of ordinary and it enhance you to perform better…..Imagine without xylocaine, so much pain in your hands will surely make its toll during fight and will result to lose of confidence, focus and concentration, fear of pain will get to your head and will ruin your mental toughness which will result to to quit the fight…With xylocaine, everything will be fine without negative effect in ur performance….This is considered PED since it helps the fighter gain an edge during fight…its a cheater act….
February 12th, 2010 at 1:29 PM
Dbest..You do make sense. Especially when you mention that it’s important to floyd if he can’t use it do to his brittle hands. Apparently he needs it. How much of it, you and I will never know.
Now as far as best friends and gulf buddies of the USADA. Let’s not forget the best friends of Bob Arum and his so called “commission”. You remember those guys right? The ones who turned the other cheak and allowed Margarito to use Plaster in his gloves and approve them. It was Mosley’s trainer who caught on to it. How long was this going on (look at Cotto’s face)
The same commissions who lifted the ban allowing Margarito to figth in texas on March 13th, because no one else is willing to lift the ban due to illigal tactics.
And why is Margarito so important to Bob Arum? who do you think is next after Pac beats the easy Clottey. This was all planned my friend. You are my friend right? Dbest?
February 12th, 2010 at 1:30 PM
do u think floytdroids will be as confident feeling so much pain in his hands during fight….if ur hurting ur hands so much during fight it will surely affect you physically and mentally….He use this PED to numb his hand so he could not feel the pain and still be 150% confident….Without this, i think he will quit during the fight coz he could not bear the pain……u get it!!
February 12th, 2010 at 2:01 PM
I agree with floyd being in pain if he didn’t have it. Which is truly an edge since he’s been allowed to use it., but xylocaine is not a drug performance enhancement or steroids in my book. I guess we can agree to disagree.
February 12th, 2010 at 2:55 PM
Mr Romero
How r u today? Let’s talk logic or at least make an attempt. If you are doing steroids and your usual bench press is 185lbs and now after 4-6weeks you can bench 315lbs do you think that once you drain it out of your system that you will still be able to bench 315lbs? No you wont be able to perform expecially at the highest level. Your body would be drained along with your confidence. Same thing applies in boxing I would believe. The only way you get away with it is if you dont get caught or you do get caught but the Commission does not release it. There is no way you can drain it out of your sytem and perform. You would be doing it for nothing if you did that.
Floyd should not be able to numb his hands! It’s unfortunate that he has brittle hands and that’s why he only fights in spurts but it should not ba allowed.
Margarito should not be allowed to fight ever again. I dont care to see Pac fight him and would be disapointed but not surprised.
February 12th, 2010 at 4:15 PM
You know pete? all I know is what I read. So I don’t want to come off like an expert of Steroids. I myself have never used them so I can’t tell you the effects of using them and comming off of them. Just feed back from guys who have used them. I have read about certain types of drug enhancements(the new ones) which can be cycled out of your system in less than 24 hours. and again I have read about xylocain and it does not increase power, stamina, growth or performance. I will admit that it’s usage does give an edge to a boxers hands. I wouldn’t use it and I’m sure Floyd wished he didn’t have it either, once you read about the side effects this thing has.
February 12th, 2010 at 5:21 PM
MrRomero
If you are undergoing surgery and need certain parts of your body to become numb, then Xylocaine is what your doctor will use on you. Inject that substance into a boxer’s fists before a fight, then what will you have? A powerful punch from someone who will not feel anything as he delivers it.
This is all that needs to be said and contradicts everything you typed. I’m not going to go on about this but why would one risk the side effects if it didn’t give them the confidence to throw a powerful punch without feeling it which does lead into power punches and performance?
As I said no one would juice up just to have it drained out of their system before a fight. It makes NO sense. You will not peform and steroids if anything will give you the confidence you need to perform at the highest level. Take it out of your system and your not doing anything. No confidence hitting the ball, throwing the ball, running, jumping or just plain competing at the highest level. Let’s see all of your sources jump on the sauce for 6 to 8 weeks, have it drained out of their system and lift the same amount of weights 3 days later and I guarantee they wont be able to do it and at the very least they will have self doubt that they can do it. Confidence is a big plus when your on the sauce and when you come off of it you lose the confidence. Like I said highly unlikely that Pac is on it and haveing it drained out of his system before any fight. He could be on it and the entire drug testing agency and commission(s) are just turning their heads the other way. I know a bit about this and my intentions are not to be insulting towards you. You are obviously entitled to your beliefs as I believe that I make a lot of sense out of this.

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.

I read this article ” Mayweather and Xylocaine: Who’s Using Drugs Now? ” and I must say that the next Mayweather fight should be held in country that do not allow Xylocaine. Even thou it is legal in some country it still give him an advantage over his opponents due to this drug. Whatever the outcome of the fight I still say there is always doubt about his ability
